How To Create Innovation In The Classroom

Innovation is a prominent theme in classroom teaching, leading the way towards more effective learning for students of all ages. However, innovation is also present – and possible – in many forms, enabling educators to adopt variations of it based on classroom structures and student needs.

When considering classroom innovation, many people often picture state of the art computers, interactive whiteboards, and digital technologies – all of which are excellent tools for innovative classroom teaching. Students now have access to a number of technologies that deliver enhanced learning experiences, helping them to focus on lessons, encouraging them to participate in class, and providing a fun learning environment in many respects. However, educational innovation spreads beyond technological tools. There are even more ways that the idea of “innovation” has – and still does – apply to classroom teaching.
